SHADY LADY This shady lady was a redraw of my first ever original digital character. I still loved her attitude and overall look so just wanted to give her a lil’ revamp. It took her 18 months to quit smoking but she got there in the end!

YORUBA The Yoruba people are a West-African ethnic group who are well known for their distinctive clothing. Their traditional dress is often vibrantly coloured and patterned to reflect the personality of the wearer. This illustration is based on a traditional Yoruba woman’s outfit which includes a Gele (headwrap), Buba (blouse) and Iro (wrap around skirt).
