Are you taking commissions?
Not at the moment. My personal commissions are currently closed as I work through my waitlist for 2023. Commissions will be back in 2024. If you’d like to get first dibs on a spot, consider signing up to the mailing list. For more information, see the commission page.

Can you create another proposal animation like the Sleeping Beauty Proposal?
Maybe! When I reopen personal commissions I might be able to take on animated requests, depending on my schedule. If you’re on my mailing list you’ll get all the details when I reopen.

Where can I buy your books?
My debut kid’s graphic novel, Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe, and picture book, What Can We Be? are available worldwide! You’ll find shop links below:

Can I hire you to illustrate my book?

Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! I can ship anywhere in the world.
How much is shipping?
● Within Australia – FREE SHIPPING over $50
● Worldwide – FREE SHIPPING over $199
● Otherwise postage is calculated at checkout
*Please note, Cork Turntable Mats are shipped directly from Studio Makkuro in Perth and are not eligible for free shipping. Your cork turntable mat will be shipped separately to other items ordered from the Kayla Coombs Shop.
When will I get my parcel?
It takes 2–7 days to fulfill an order before it’s shipped out from my Melbourne studio. Here’s a rough estimate on shipping times:
● Australia: 3–5 business days
● Everywhere else: 10–25 business days
Will my parcel be tracked?
All orders except stickers and postcards are sent with tracking. You’ll receive a tracking email once the parcel is sent so you can keep an eye on your goodies as they travel the world.
Will I be charged customs for my order?
An additional customs fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in my control and can vary widely from country to country. Please check with your local customs office to see if duties and taxes will apply to your purchases.
My order hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
Before getting in touch, please help me out by doing the following:
● Check your delivery address is correct.
● Check your letterbox – the courier should leave an attempted delivery card if they’ve missed you.
● Check your email inbox – you will receive an email if a delivery has been attempted with instructions on organising a pickup or redelivery.
Still no sign of your parcel? Get in touch at [email protected] with your order number.
If your parcel is returned to sender (e.g. you supplied the incorrect delivery address or failed to collect the parcel within the given timeframe) a redelivery can be arranged. Please note, shipping will be at your own cost.
Returns
Can I return an item or exchange it for a different size or design?
If you’d like to return or exchange an item, just get in touch. Unfortunately we’re unable to cover any postage costs but will always refund the item itself upon receipt, provided it is in unused and as new condition.
We’ll do everything we can to help you get the right item for you the first time round! If you’re unsure about your size check out the size chart on each item listing, or send us an email and we’ll be happy to answer any questions.
Sustainability & Ethics
To reduce environmental impact we use print on demand services. This means we can create each order as it comes through, rather than printing in bulk and having unsold products leftover. This allows us to minimise waste and reduces our overhead operating costs.

Art prints are printed to order right here in Melbourne. Rainbow Face Tees and Totes are printed on 100% cotton AS Colour Tees and Tote Bags, produced in factories that are certified socially responsible and sustainable by WRAP, BSCI or OEKO-TEX. All inks used in the textile printing process are water based, child safe and OEKO-TEX certified.
Orders are packaged in 100% recycled or recyclable packaging, and all deliveries are carbon offset.
Redbubble Shop
By using a print on demand service like Redbubble, we can make a wider range of products available while also minimising waste. Although it may seem like Franuary stickers are everywhere you look, in reality we sell a handful of each item. Instead of buying a wide range of products in bulk from a wholesaler and having unsold products leftover, Redbubble custom prints each order. This means less waste! Redbubble also has printing locations around the world, lowering shipping emissions and reducing customs fees.
Stockists & Licensing
I have a retail store. How can I stock your products?
